Go to the website accounts.sma.energy and click on 'create SMA ID'

The site will ask for your first name and surname. Scroll down after filling in.

At the bottom you enter your e-mail address and create a password. The password must be at least 10 characters long, contain both upper and lower case letters, and at least 1 number and at least 1 'special character' such as ! or ? or _ or - . Then click on 'Continue'.

At this step you will be asked if the account you're making is a private or a business account. Select private account by clicking on the box.

Fill in your telephone number (landline or mobile). Don't forget the country code (+31)! Then scroll down.

Fill out your address data (including the province!). Then tick the two required boxes for permission and click on 'Create SMA ID'.

If all went well you should get this notification. Now there should be an e-mail in your in-box.

You should see this e-mail in your in-box. Click on 'confirm registration.'

With your new SMA-ID (combination of e-mail address and newly created password) you can log into accounts.sma.energy and the SMA Energy App!
