In the future, the classic Sunny Portal will be completely phased out; most plants (without Sunny Home Manager) were migrated some time ago, and all new registrations are now also being processed on the new platform. Only existing sites with a Sunny Home Manager remained on the old portal until now.

The reason the Sunny Home Manager installations were not migrated is that not all the functionalities of the classic Sunny Portal have been migrated to ennexOS yet. In particular, time-controlled battery charging from the grid is not possible on ennexOS, but is possible on the classic portal.

However, customers can already choose to migrate their systems themselves if they wish. EnnexOS offers certain advantages over the classic Sunny Portal, such as faster data loading. For the SMA Energy app is doesn't make a differnce whether a system is on the classic Sunny Portal or ennexOS.
