This inverter is specially designed for use with power optimizers per solar panel. With an optimizer, each panel is controlled separately and you experience minimal interference from shading. The yield with a lot of shading on a panel is 16% higher with the SE 6K.

This inverter is about 10 to 20% cheaper than micro inverters and requires much fewer loose parts. This makes the installation much more flexible to expand and simpler to maintain.
